Kate Blouin – Executive Director

Kate, the founder of Hope Grove Recovery, draws on her 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and her personal journey of recovery to create a sanctuary for healing, dignity, and empowerment for women living with substance use disorders (SUDs). Her passion for advocating, building community, and fostering connections is deeply rooted in her real-life experiences. Throughout her career, Kate has worked with vulnerable communities, witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of untreated trauma and unstable housing. These experiences have inspired her to create a trauma-informed, wellness-centered recovery residence for women, designed to meet individuals with compassion and support as they work toward lasting transformation.

Kate has combined her heart and strategic thinking to create a structured and meaningful environment at Hope Grove Recovery. This environment reflects the realities of women in recovery and the hope that sustains them. Her work goes beyond recovery; it is about reimagining what is possible when women have the tools, space, and respect to thrive.

Kate lives in Fairfield, Vermont, with her husband and children. When not supporting her community, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with friends and family. These personal passions give her the energy and inspiration to continue her work at Hope Grove Recovery. Additionally, she is privileged to serve on the board of directors for the Turning Point Center of Franklin County and Step Out VT.
